The Hendry County Jail is a secure correctional facility which holds both male and female pre-trial and sentenced inmates.  The jail receives the majority of its bookings from the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office, Clewiston Police Department, and Florida Highway Patrol. 

During 2014 there were approximately 2,712 inmates booked into the Hendry county jail.  The jail’s average daily population is approximately 154 inmates.
